Our Story

It was the mid-eighties when Joan Crate started cooking in the basement of her home for small-scale events in Rockcliffe. A few years later, when success mandated a move to a bigger facility, Joan partnered with Chef Joe Hurschler who took over culinary leadership in 1991. The business partnership expanded to include Conrad Mineault, who joined the Company in 1998 to take over daily operations. The team is rounded out with Conrad’s two sons, Patrick and Pierre who joined their father full-time in 2011 after completing their Hotel Management and Culinary Arts Diploma.

What started as a small business serving predominately New Edingburg and Rockcliffe area quickly expanded to include the rest of Ottawa and the entire Ottawa-Gatineau Valley.

Today Goodies Fine Catering is recognized as the market leader for excellence in the greater Ottawa-Gatineau metropolitan area. At the core of its success is an obsessive commitment to perfection.
